The new series include IXUS in which IXUS 135, 255HS, 140 are wifi enabled and IXUS 510 and 240 are not wifi enabled. Under the powershot series Powershot 3500IS, Powershot N are wifi enabled and Powershot s110 is not wifi enabled. To support the wifi photo transfer feature canon is a using a webservice called Canon Image Gateway with 10Gb free space for each user and members of this service can connect to each other through this free service to share photos and videos with each other.

The new PowerShot cameras 2500, 2600, A3500 and N will be priced between Rs 5,995 and Rs 20,995 and the IXUS 132, 135, 140 and 255HS will cost between Rs 7,995 and Rs 12,995. The EOS 100D and 700D DSLRs are priced as Rs 48,995 and Rs 53,995 respectively.
