As we had earlier informed you about the launch of this device, now we had bought for you the detailed review of the newly launched Gionee Elife E6. This China based Smartphone maker is already doing well in the market with its previously launched Elife series. Previously it had launched the Elife E5 Smartphone, which had the specifications that were somewhat similar to the Elife E6. The Gionee Elife E6 offers the customers with faster Quad Core processor, dual camera and various other features. This device seems to be a high end offering from the Gionee Mobiles and will be available in the Indian market after August.

Camera and Internal Storage

The camera section of this device is an high end one. Both the primary and secondary camera of this device are very good when compared to the other devices in this segment. The Gionee Elife E6 offers the dual camera feature to its customers. It packs the 13.0 MP auto focus primary camera at the rear with f2.2 wide angle lens, LED flash and an second generation BSI sensor. The LED flash and BSI sensors lets the users to capture great images even in the low light. It is again supported by the 5.0 MP secondary camera at the front with f2.4 wide angle lens, which lets the users to perform the video calling and lets the users to click the self pictures. The camera also lets the users to record the videos at the 1080 pixels. So the camera section of this device is really an impressive one. The Gionee Elife E6 if lacks in any segment from the other devices in its segment, is obviously the memory storage option. Gionee Elife E6 comes with the 32 GB of internal storage capacity, the internal storage of device seems to be good. But there is no expandable memory option provided by the Gionee, and this seems to be a setback for the device. As the device comes with the greater hardware specifications and HD display company should have provided the option of the expandable memory storage.

Gionee Elife E6 is powered with the Mediatek Turbo processor that offers great performance and better speed to the device. E6 is powered by 1.5 GHz Mediatek MT6589T Quad Core processor, this processor gives better performance as compared to the normal Mediatek based processors. Also the Quad Core processor helps the device in the smooth functioning and maintains the speed of the phone even with the larger apps and multiple operations performing at the same time. Gionee Elife E6 supports the processor with the 2 GB of RAM, which makes the phone to perform even more faster and the users will have great experience even with the larger HD games and newer apps running in the device. So the hardware section of the E6 seems to be great. For the device with such heavy hardware specifications and larger display size the battery must be large enough to support it nicely. Gionee Elife E6 is powered by the 2020 mAh polymer lithium battery and is non removable as the device comes with the unibody design.The battery of this device seems to be somewhat on the lower side and was expected to be on the higher side. Though for the average user this battery can give good backup after single charge.

The display of the Gionee Elife E6 seems to be impressive, Elife E6 sports a larger 5.0 inch Full HD AMOLED capacitive touch screen, that also supports the One Glass Solution (OGS). The OGS technology is useful to maintain the clarity and screen display even in the day light. Gionee Elife E6 comes with the screen resolution of about 1920 x 1080 pixels, it has pixel density of 441 PPI which seems great and also the device has the HD display. The users will surely have great fun while playing HD games and newer apps. The phone has CABC screen brightness regulation technology that automatically reduces screen brightness. So the display of the E6 is great and provides all of the required features to the users and can easily compete in this segment. The Gionee Elife E6 comes with various unique features and several common features. For the connectivity options it packs the 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and micro USB. Also for the audio connectivity option it comes with the 3.5 mm jack. Elife E6 features Heartbeat Synchronizing Technology that wake ups the apps at regular intervals so that apps consume less power as compared to the normal operations. The phone’s operating system also automatically sets a white list ensuring essential applications to be waken up at any time. Elife E6 features various motion sensing features that lets the device to be controlled via the action of the hands or automatically play/pause videos when the user looks away from the screen. It also lets the users to receive the calls just by raising the device to the ears. Gionee Elife E6 runs on the Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS on top of which Amigo UI runs that provides a unique functionality to the interface of the device. The dimensions of the phone is nice, it is extremely thin at just 6.18mm and weighs 128 grams.
